October 2012 Exam Application Deadlines

LAPELS is currently accepting applications for the October 2012 exam administration.

June 1, 2012* - application submitted to LAPELS
June 1, 2012* - Students with NON-ABET and/or foreign undergraduate degrees. Graduate Students are required to apply to the LAPELS Board for approval. All applicants with a foreign non-ABET degree must obtain a credential evaluation by an approved evaluation service (list below). Please submit an application after receiving an official credential evaluation as well as a current transcript of the courses you are taking for a Masters/PhD in engineering.
July 1, 2012* - Reschedule for the FE, PE, LSI, PLS and the Louisiana Laws of Surveying. (if a new application is required, must be submitted by June 1)
August 24, 2012* - Students in the last 2 semesters obtaining a BS degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET university.
September 6, 2012 - Must be registered with NCEES - DO NOT REGISTER WITHOUT BOARD APPROVAL.

*Applications and re-schedule requests received after this date will be processed for the April 2013 exam administration.

Beginning in 2014 the FE and FS exams will be converted to Computer Based Testing. Deadlines will vary as exams will be administered during assigned blocks of time throughout the year.
