Examination Schedule

Professional Engineering and Professional Land Surveying exams are administered on Fridays in Baton Rouge.

Professional Land Surveying and Professional Engineering Examinations in the disciplines of Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Structural I, and Structural II engineering disciplines are offered in the spring and fall of each year.

Professional Engineering Examinations in the disciplines of Architectural engineering and Naval Architecture & Marine engineering are offered ONLY in the spring of each year.

Professional Engineering Examinations in the disciplines of Agricultural, Control Systems, Fire Protection, Industrial, Metallurgical, Mining and Mineral, Nuclear, and Petroleum are offered ONLY in the fall of each year.

Fundamentals of Engineering and LSI Examinations are administered on Saturdays in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Ruston. For the fall exam administration, FE and LSI exams are offered in Lake Charles.

The morning session of the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination is the same for everyone. For the afternoon session of the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination, you will be asked to select the module that best corresponds to your undergraduate degree.
